Lots of fun new additions this year!!!

1) New Young Quilter Category
In the past few years, we have been receiving more and more quilts from people 18 and under. This year we’ve added a new category just for those quilters, complete with it’s own prize. So finish up those quilts, even if it’s your first one, and submit it to the Quilt Show.


2) New Challenge Fabric Category
Fat Quarters of our Challenge Fabric will be available to purchase for $5 during the Quilt Show. You will have all year to complete your quilt and enter it into our Challenge Fabric Category next year. The price of the fat quarter includes the entry fee for next year!

3) New Quilt Mile Walk
Saturday morning, June 26th at 8:30 a.m. come participate in a mile walk from the Peteetneet to the Payson City Park and past Morganson’s Quilt Shop and back to the Peteetneet. $5 pre-entry fee ($10 same day registration) Quilt gift bag and post race refreshment for participants.
Get your morning off to an invigorating start!

"Buggy Barn Star"-- $15

Come learn how to crazy piece the "Buggy Barn" way. Learn to draw, cut, and piece from your own template!

Project size depends on how many fat quarters you want to use.

"Hand Quilting" -- $15

Come join me at a modern day quilting bee! As we sit and learn together the intricacies of hand quilting. We will go on a merry trip from deciding a design, marking quilts, basting the layers, selecting needles, thimbles, thread, to hoop or not to hoop, to finishing off your thread. We will have lots of stops along the way and plenty of time to practice your skills. Bring a project of your own or contace me and we can put together a kit. Whether you are a beginner or intermediate you will really enjoy this class!

"Beginning Tatting"-- $15

Become a lace maker! This classs will introduce you to shuttle tatting. You will learn the basics of tatting, how to read the patterns, and have a beautiful bookmark to treasure.

"Quilt As You Go"-- $15

Come learn three different ways to machine quilt and finish your quilt without having to take it to a machine quilter. This is a hands on technique class so go ahead and bring 4 to 8 blocks quilted or ready to quilt and let's find the technique that will fit your block. We will cover deciding on the perfect pattern for your quilt, how to determine the best method of piecing, breaking down a quilt (no matter how large) to work into manageable blocks, quilting free motion or following a pattern, connecting the quilted blocks, and finishing up the quilt.

"Disappearing Nine Patch" -- $15

Come learn this fun Disappearing Nine Patch Quilt. This class is a fun way to use a layer cake and 1/3 yard for inside border and 1 yard for the outside border. Make a cute lap quilt that is 68" x 68" in no time!

"Beginning Knitting"-- $15
